Adhyayana Utsavam (Pagal pathu) commenced in a very grand manner in Sri Sowmya Damodara Perumal temple at Villivakkam. Prabhanda parayana goshti assembled in the perumal sannidhi, where Sri Damodaran and all the Azhwars were assembled for the Adhyayana utsavam.
Day-8 (10 January 2022) and Day-9 (11 January 2022),
Thirumozhi pasurams were recited by the Prabhanda parayana swamigal. Alankaram for Perumal and His consorts, Sridevi, Bhoodevi Nachiyars, were performed beautifully with different attires. Perumal Purappadu took place along with His consorts Sridevi, Bhoodevi Nachiyars in the inside premises.
Azhwars were felicitated by maalai mariyadhai and SriSadari, followed by nivedhanam. Parayana goshti swamigal were felicitated by SriSadari. Finally, theertha prasadam was distributed to the assembled devotees.
