Adhyayana Utsavam commenced in a very grand manner in Sri Deivanayaga Perumal temple at Vanamaamalai. Pagal Pathu utsavam would be celebrated till 12 January 2022. Everyday, Perumal was adorned in different alankaram. Utsavam was celebrated under the guidance and in the augment presence of Sri vanamamalai mutt Jeer Swamigal.
On 8th day, (10 jan 2022)Perumal was adorned as Govardhana giridhari, holding Govardhana mountain saving all the people who came and surrendered to Him.. Later in the evening, Perumal in cowherd Thirukolam gave darshan as Madhusudhanan in Pallakku. Many astikas participated and got the blessings of Divya dampathis.
On day-9,(11 jan 2022) Perumal was in Sri Mohini avataram Thirukolam, bringing amritham from the thiruparkadal, gave darshan in pallakku and in the evening, He was adorned as Mohini avtaram thirukolam playing Veena.
On day-10,(12 jan 2022) Pagal pathu Sattrumurai was performed in an enthusiastic manner with participation of many astikas. On the day, Thirumangai Azhwar Thiruvadi thozhal was performed, during which Azhwar fell at the Lotus feet of Perumal and in total surrender.
