On 14 January 2022, Sanranti festival was celebrated in a grand manner in Sri Rukmini Samedha Sri Parthasarathy Perumal, at Triplicane. Perumal Purappadu took place and Sri Parthasarathy Perumal along with Sri Andal gave darshan to the awaited devotees in Pallakku.
Alankaram was performed with varieties of thiruvabharanams, beautiful garlands. Alankaram of Sri Andal with Chowri kondai and accessories and pithambaram colour silk saree looked beautiful. Rathna abhaya hastham of Sri Andal indicates the devotees that those who surrender, would be rescued by Her grace.
Purappadu took place in the four mada streets along with Prabhanda parayana Goshti, which was a blissful event. Purappadu in pallakku with Sri Perumal and Sri Andal sitting opposite to each other looked like Chakravarthy and pattamahishi in a procession, which was enthralling. Devotees had a blissful darshan of Perumal and Sri Andal.
