Adhyayana Utsavam commenced in a very grand manner in Sri Devanathaswami temple at Thiruvaheendrapuram. Rapathu Pathu utsavam was commenced from 13 January 2022 and was celebrated for nine days. The Azhwars were assembled for the Adhyayana utsavam and felicitation was performedfor all the Azhwars and Acharyal. Limited parayana goshti only assembled due to pandemic restrictions laid by the Government.
On 17th January 2022, day-5 of Rapathu utsavam; Perumal purappadu took place in the temple premises and Perumal gave darshan in sesha Vahanam, as it coincided on Thai pushyam. Pillaiyandhadhi was started for recitation and Sattrumurai took place. All the parayana Goshti swamigal were felicitated during purappadu.
Everyday, each ten of Nalayira Divya prabhandam were recited along with Desika Pabhandam. Sattrumurai followed by theertha prasadam and felicitation.
