Rapathu Adhyayana utsavam commenced in Sri Mayuravalli samedha Sri Adhikesava Perumal temple at Mylapore. Everyday, Alankaram was beautifully performed for Perumal along with his consorts, Sridevi, Bhoodevi and all the Azhwars. Vishesha alankaram, aradhanam were performed and recitation of Thiruvaimozhi took place by the Parayana Goshti in the augment presence of Perumal and azhwars were assembled under the leadership of Nammazhwar. All the Azhwars were felicitated by maalai mariyadhai and SriSadari. On 22 january 2022, tenth day, Nammazhwar thiruvadi thozhal would take place.
On day-5, Perumal was adorned with varieties of thiruvabharanams, ear kavacham, haram, along with beautiful sampanki garland.
On day-6, Perumal adorned with Ashtalakshmi maalai looked graceful.
On day-7, Perumal and ubhaya nachiyars were adorned in muthangi sevai.
On day-8, Being Thirumazhisai Azhwar thirunakshatram, Vishesha Sattrumurai took place. Purappadu took place inside the temple premises.
On day-9, Perumal was adorned with Chowri kondai with accessories, coral maalai, kousthubham, which looked marvelous.
Devotees had a blissful darshan in all the four days of Rapathu utsavam.
