Theppotsavam commenced in Sri Mayuravalli samedha Sri Adhikesava perumal temple at Mylapore. It is planned to conduct theppotsavam till 04 February 2022. In each day, each deity would adorn the theppa mandapam. Prabhanda Parayana Goshti were also present among other astikas during the theppotsavam.
On the first day, utsavam commenced in a grand manner. In the evening, Perumal along with His consorts adorned theppa mandapam. Perumal along with His consorts came around the temple tank. Following theppotsavam, Perumal Thiruveedhi purappadu took place later in the night.
On the second day of utsavam, Perumal and Sri Andal adorned theppotsavam in the evening. “Varana mayiram” was recited during the theppotsavam, as Andal and Perumal gave darshan in Serthi Sevai to all the devotees.
