Masi Brahmotsavam is being celebrated in a very grand manner for the past few days, in Sri Rukmini samedha Sri Parthasarathy Perumal temple at Tiruvellikeni since 20 February 2022.

On day-8, Perumal was adorned as little krishna. This little krishna, was in the posture of crawling little child with butter in one hand and butter pot on the other hand. Sri Venkatakrishnan of Triplicane temple, who served as Sarathy (driver of chariot) of Arjuna, was adorned as little krishna as He was in Yashodamma’s lap. Pallakku purappadu took place in all the mada streets with kannadi Sevai for all the devotees to have darshan of his crawling feet, which looked so beautiful.

In the evening, Sri Parthasarathy Perumal Paththi Ulathal took place and Perumal proceeded in purappadu in Oyyali before He reached vahana mandapam for alankaram.

At night, Perumal was seated on Kudhirai Vahanam and Thirumangai mannan in Vedupari utsavam. Perumal adorned in beautiful Silk garments looked very majestic. Vedupari utsavam:

Thirumangai mannan also dressed up like robber, who tries to rob the jewels and valuables, finally surrenders at the feet of Perumal, when he found it very difficult to remove the anklets from His feet. This event of “Thiruththi atkollal” was the utsavam  which took place during Kudhirai vahanam. Thirumangai azhwar, after this, was felicitated by parivattam and Srisadari.

Devotees had a blissful darshan in the madastreets during Vedupari utsavam.

Parayana goshti recitation and Nadhaswaram musical performance during the oyyali, keeps all the assembled devotees in an ecstatic state as always.
