21 March 2022, Plava varusha, Panguni-07, Monday;
Panguni Brahmotsavam commenced in Sri VidyaRajagopalaswami temple at Rajamannargudi. As a part of inaguration, on 20 March 2022, Mritsangrahanam was performed for flag hoisting. The mud for Mritsangrahanam was performed on the banks of River Pamani. Purappadu of Senai mudhaliar took place visiting the entire place, supervising the arrangements, before the Brahmotsavam commenced.
On 21 March 2022, First day of Brahomtsavam commenced with Dwajarohanam in the morning, hoisting Garudaflag in the Golden dwajam, chanting Veda mantras in the presence of Perumal.
