On 3rd August 2022, Wednesday, Dhanvanthri Homam was performed in Sri Sundaravaradha Perumal temple in Nallur village, which is in Vandavasi taluk, near Thellaru River.
Vishesha thirumanjanam was performed for all the Moolavamoorthy of the temple, Sri Sundaravaradha Perumal, Sri Sundaravalli thayar, Sri Garudazhwar, Sri Hanuman, Sri Chakrathazhwar. Thirumanjanam was performed with milk, curd, Honey, turmeric paste, sandal paste, Kumkum, fruit panchamrutham, rose water, tender coconut. Later, Alankaram was performed for all the Moolavamoorthy and Utsavamoorthy along with Sridevi, Bhoodevi Nachiyars. Later, many herbal products were used for Dhanvanthri Homam. Many people in and around the village as well as people from other parts of the state had participated in Mahayagnam and got the blessings of Divya Dampathis and prayed for fulfilment of their wishes. Theertham and prasadam were distributed to the assembled devotees.
