On the third day morning of the on-going nine-day annual karthika Brahmotsavams of Goddess Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanoor, the Goddess of Riches took celestial ride on pearl carrier-Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam. According to Vedic Astrology Pearl represents the planet Moon. Moon reflects the human mind, and impacts on our thinking. Pearls help in maintaining the stability of our minds and increases self confidence. Being the beloved sister of Lord Chandra-the moon, Goddess Padmavathi takes a pleasure ride on the pearly canopy which instils great feel of love, enhances patience and increases self confidence among Her devotees.

On the third day evening, the Goddess Padmavathi Devi in all Her splendour took a majestic ride on Simha Vahanam.  Among the various avataras of Lord Sri Mahavishnu, Narasimha Avatar is Half Man and Half Animal incarnation. This Lion Man avatar of Lord depicts that He is there to protect His devotees from the evil powers. There are several forms of Narasimha, but nine main ones collectively known as Navanarasimha, Ugra-narasimha, Kruddha-narasimha, Vira-narasimha, Vilamba-narasimha, Kopa-narasimha, Yoga-narasimha, Aghora-narasimha, Sudarsana-narasimha, Laksmi-narasima. By taking a ride on this carrier, the Goddess showcases her nine different rupas to the Her devotees with her divine charm.
