ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಾನುಜರು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಹಾನ್ ಭಕ್ತಿಪಂಥದ ಪ್ರವರ್ತಕರು. 2017ನೇ ವರ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀವೈಷ್ಣವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ವದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾರಣ, ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ರಾಮಾನುಜರು ಅವತರಿಸಿ 1000 ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯೂ, ಸಮಾಜ ಸುಧಾರಕರೂ ಆದ ಇವರು ಸಂತರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಮಹಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಔನ್ನತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಿತಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಬಹುದಾದಂತಹ ಅಪೂರ್ವ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶವಿದು. ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಾನುಜರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವಾದ ತಿರುನಾರಾಯಣಪುರವು ಈ ಅಪೂರ್ವ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಸಿಧ್ಧಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. 2017ರ ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಾನುಜ ಸಹಸ್ರಮಾನೋತ್ಸವ ಸೇವಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
