Today, (Vijaya Varusha Aadi Sadayam; July 25, 2013), HH 44th Srimath Azhagiyasingar’s (Srimath Mukkur Azhagiyasingar) Aradhanam was conducted at Srirangam Dasavatharan Sannidhi. This year, the Shisyas were doubly blessed by the presence of HH 46th Srimath Azhagiyasingar, Srivan Sathakopa Sri Ranganatha Yathindra Mahadesikan, who is observing the fifth Chaturmasya Sankalpam at Srirangam. Thirumanjanam was performed to Srimath Mukkur Azhagiyasingar’s vigraham after applying sesame oil and shika powder, with milk, curds, honey, raw coconut water, turmeric, sandal wood powder etc. Devotees were pleased that Acharya Sarvabhouman accepted each one’s offering. Similarly, every length of garland was adorned by Mukkur Azhagiasingar deftly offered by the Aradhakar swami.
Today was the Day 4 of Chaturmasya Sankalpam of HH 46th Srimath Azhagiyasingar. At the Sathabhisheka mandapam where Malola Aradhana is done, after Abhigamanam, HH 46th Azhagiyasingar performed Aradhana to the Padhukas of HH 44th Srimath Azhagiyasingar with great reverence. It was an ennobling sight for the Shishyas to witness the Veda Vinnappams, Perumal, Acharya Sambhavanai and hear the chanting of Divya Prabandhams. After Theertham and Shatari, Srimath Azhagiyasingar on the swarna simhasanam blessed all with Sripada theertham. This was followed by Goshti Viniyogam.
