On October 31, 2013; Vijaya Varusha Aippasi Uthiram, Ul purappadu for Sri Ranganayaki Thayar took place in a grand manner at Sri Kothanda Ramar Thirukkoil, West Mambalam, Chennai. The purappadu and pathiula along with Oonjal utsavam took place in the evening at around 8 pm.
Meanwhile, as part of the ongoing Manavala Mamunigal Utsavam which commenced on October 29th, 2013 at this temple, there was Ghoshti and Siriya Thirumadal at Sri Thayar Sannadi followed by satrumurai, theertham and sadari. There is Ghoshti and Satrumurai everyday evening during the 10-day utsavam which will culminate into the Acharyan’s thirunakshatram on November 7, 2017 (Aippasi Thirumoolam).
Several devotees participated in the utsavams yesterday and received the blessings of Thayar and Acharyan.
