Today, December 3, 2013, Sri Padmavathi Thayar at the TTD Temple, T.Nagar Chennai, had Mada Veedhi Purappadu on Gaja Vahanam at 8 pm to celebrate Thayar Brahmotsavam. Many flower vendors on the way were happy to see the procession and offered flowers during purappadu! Thayar reached temple at 10.15 pm followed by Yeyali seva/Eassal.The utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner and a large number of devotees participated in the purappadu to receive Thayar’s anugraham.
