Today December 28, 2013; Vijaya Varusha Margazhi Swathi, Homam and Thirumanjanam was performed in grand manner at Upper Ahobilam. Every month on Swathi Nakshatram (star), Thirumanjanam (Abhishekam) is performed for all the nine Nrisimhas (Nava Nrisimhas) of Ahobilam. Homam, Purnahuthi and a grand thirumanjanam was performed for Ugra Nrusimhar, Thayar, Chakrathalwan and other deities at Upper Ahobilam.
