On June 17, 2014; Jaya Varusha Aani Thiruvonam, Sravana purappadu took place for Sri Perarulalan along with Ubhaya Nachiyars at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Divya Desam, Kanchipuram. Several astikas participated in the purappadu and received the blessings of Devaperumal and Thayars.
