Today, July 1, 2014; Jaya Varusha Aani Ayilyam, Day 3 of the 7-day Kodai Utsavam was celebrated at Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam (SVDD) Sri Alarmelmanga sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple, Mylapore, Chennai.On this occasion morning Perumal and Thayar had Thirumanjanam.And in the evening Perumal and Thayar had decorated with Chandana kapu, kumkumapoo in the kannadi arai .After that Perumal and ubhaya nachiyars had ul Purappadu to the Vasantha Mandapam .In the Mandapam Perumal and Nachiyars had Unjal and Pushpa Satrupadi Followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu .Lot of astikas and bhaktas had the darshan of Thayar and Perumal on the occasion of the kodai Uthsavam.
