On 19 August 2014, Jaya Varusha Avani Rohini, Uriyadi Utsavam was celebrated in grand manner at Sri Azhagiya Nambi Perumal Temple,Thirukurungudi. In the evening Perumal and his consorts thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the maada veedhis of Thirukurungudi, Later Uriyadi Utsavam was conducted with lot of bhaagavathas took part in the uriyadi and had blessings of Divya Dampatis.
