On October 16, 2014, Jaya Varusha Purattasi Punarvasu; Annakoota Utsavam was celebrated grandly at Maduranthakam Sri Eri Katha Ramar Temple.On this occasion in the morning, Sri Ramar Seetha and Lakshamanar had snapana thirumanjanam and followed by varuna japam and Annakoota Utsavam took place on the need of rain. Several astikas took part in the Annakoota Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Seetha Ramar.
