Kinchitkaram Trust Sri Rama Anuyatra Concludes At Sri Ranganathaswami Temple Srirangam

On , 14 November 2014; Sri Rama Anu yatra organised by Velkudi Swami’s Kinchitkaram Trust came to a successful completion at SriRangam. It was a 21 day yatra in which 1600 pilgrims had the bhagyam of traversing the path taken by Rama that too under the leadership of U.Ve. Sri Velukudi Krishnan Swami. After offering their gratitude at Udayavar Sannidhi the devotees did pradakshinam of Chitra and Uthira Veedhis. The joy of having completed a yagam was writ large on the faces of those fortunate to have gone on the yatra making them forget their travel weariness. There was singing and dancing as the procession did the circumbulation.
Then in the evening at about 3.00 p.m.there was Swami’s discourse on Sri Rama Patabhishekam at Sri Ranga vilas mandapam. Local residents came in large numbers to hear about the Anu Yatra. Perumal Maryadhai came from several divya desams and the stage was filled with Sthalathars and SriVaishnavas. Swami in his inimitable style gave us a synopsis of the 21 day yatra without missing the names of the places they visited, the punya theerthams in which they bathed and highlights of the places visited. The journey began in Bittur at Valmiki Ashram and ended at SriRangam. Ayodhya, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Allahabad, Chitrakoot, Nandhigram, Nasik, Thaketh,Tirukurungudi, Tirupullani were some of the places covered.

SriRangam temple Jeer Swami came at about 4.00p.m. and talked lovingly of Velukudi Krishnan Swami’s charisma and how people were attracted to his talks. Jeer Swami compared Swami to Ramanujacharya who attracted more devotees than Perumal Himself. He highlighted the importance of an acharya to reach moksham. Swami resumed his discourse after this. Then important slokas of SriRama Pattabhishekam were read by U.Ve Bhakthavatsalam Swami in a clear voice.There were about 2000 devotees who listened spell-bound to Swami’s upanyasam and had the satisfaction of travelling mentally to the places traversed by SriRama and Velkudi Swami. The desire to visit these sacred places has been aroused as also to follow the dharmic path shown by SriRama.

ஸ்ரீரங்கம் கோயில் ரங்கவிலாஸ் மண்டபத்தில் ஸ்ரீ வேளுக்குடி கிருஷ்ணன் சுவாமிகள் ஸ்ரீ ராமனின் அரும்பெரும் குணங்களை பற்றி மாலை 3 மணி தொடங்கி உபன்யாசம் செய்தருளினார். முன்னதாக மன்னார்குடி ராஜகோபால சுவாமி திருகோயிலிலிருந்து அணுக்ரஹ பிரசாதம் மாலை மரியாதை அக்கோயில் பட்டர் சுவாமிகளுக்கு சமர்பித்தார். கும்பகோணம் ஸ்ரீ சக்ரபாணி திருக்கோயில் குமபகோணம் ராமர் கோயில் அனுக்ரஹ பிரசாதம் கோயில் அர்ச்சகர் சுவாமிகள் ஸ்ரீ வேளுக்குடி சுவாமிகளுக்கு சமர்பித்தார். திரளாக சேவார்த்திகள் செவிக்குளிர அந்வைத்தனர்.

An excellent awareness is cropping up among all people , specially the youth, to move towards a life of devotion and discipline due to these great efforts initiated by Velukkudy Sri Krishnan Swamy and his dedicated team. Our great appreciation and prayers for these efforts to continue.
