On, 12th December 2014, Jaya varusha Karthikai Ayilyam, Sahasra Deepams (1008) were offered to Periya Pirattai at Sri Ranga Nachiyar Sannadhi, Sri Ranganathaswami Temple, Srirangam. In the evening at about 6 pm, lamps were lit inside and outside Thayar Sannadhi all around the prakaram. The Lamps are arranged to look like Changu, Chakkaram, Garudazhwar ( Periya Thiruvadi), Sri Hanuman ( Siriya Thiruvadi) and Sri ( Tamil Letter) . The decoration are very beautiful throughout the sannadhi. The inside and outside of the sannadhi was filled with twinkling lights glowing beautifully everywhere.Lot of astikas took part in the sahasara deepam and had the blessings of Sri Periya Piratti at Srirangam
