On, February 1, 2015; Jaya Varusha Masi Punarpoosam; Kulasekara Azhwar Thirunakshatra Utsavam was celebrated grandly at Sri Devarajaswami Temple, Kanchipuram. On this occasion, in the evening around 6.00 p.m Sri Devaperumal comes out of thirumalai with Ubhaya Nachiyars and goes for Thiruveedhi Purappadu to Thiruvadi kovil and returns backs to temple. Around 6.300 p.m Sri Kulasekara Azhwar joins with Sri Devaperumal purappadu goes via Sri Azhwar Prakaram to Sri Udayavar Sannadhi and asthanam. There goshti parayanam, Darshana thamboolam and Mariyathai for Sri Kulasekara Azhwar. Later Thiruvaradhanam is performed for Perumal, Again Mariyathai given for Kulasekara Azhwar followed by grand Satrumurai with Sri Satari and Theertha Prasadam for Goshti.
Around 8.00 p.m Sri Devaperumal with his consorts and Kulasekara Azhwar from Udayavar sannadhi goes back to thirumalai. Sri Kulasekara Azhwar last Maryathai was given in the 10th step( 10padi) of thirumalai then Sri Perumal Sannadhikku Ezhundarulal and Azhwar goes back to his sannadhi. Lot of astikas took part in the Kulasekara Azhwar Thirunakshatra Utsavam and had the blessings of Azhwar and Divyadampatis.
