On, 24 April 2014, Manmadha varusha Chithirai thiruvadhirai, Swami Bashyakarar Thirunakshatram utsavam was celebrated in grand manner at Madipakkam Sri Oppilliappan Pattabhisheka Ramar Temple . In the evening Sri oppilliappan and bhoomi devi Thayar along with Swami Bhasyakara had asthanam followed by sevakalam and satrumurai.Lot of devotees took part in the Swami Bhashyakara Jayanthi Utsavam and had darshan of Acharya and divya dampathis.
