On July 31st 2015, Manmatha Varusha Aadi Uthradam; Thayar Purappadu took place in grand manner at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Pondicherry. On this occasion, in the evening Sri Alarmelmangai Thayar, had a sparkling alankaram in Oonjal sevai and performed Ul purrapadu in the temple premises . Several devotees participated in the Aadi Vellikizhamai purappadu and received the blessings of Sri Alarmelmangai Thayar.
