On 13th October 2015,Manmadha varusha Purattasi Chithirai; Boodathazhwar Thiruvavathara utsavam commences in grand manner in his avatara sthalam, Sri Nilamangai Thayar Sametha Sri Sthala Sayana Perumal temple, Tirukkadalmallai . On this occasion in the morning around 10.00 a.m Thirumanjanam was perfomed to Boodhathazhwar. In the evening Boodhathazhwar Thiruveedhi purappadu in kedayam took place in the temple streets of Thirukadalmallai. Likewise on 14th & 15th October Swami Boodathazhwar Purappadu took place in the evening with Arulicheyal goshti . Several Astikas took part in the day 1 to 3 of Boodathazwhar avathara utsavam and had the blessings of Azhwar and Divyadampatis.
