On 28 September 2015, Manmadha Varusha Purattasi Uthirattahi, Day 2 of ThiruPavithrotsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Ponpathirkoodam Sri Chaturbuja Ramar Temple near to Chengalpet .On this occasion Homam was conducted amidst of arulicheyal and veda ghosti in the morning and evening. Later in the evening Sri Seetha Lakshmana Sametha Sri Chathurbuja Ramar thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the village streets. Several Astikas took part in the day 2 of ThiruPavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
