On, October 21, 2015; Manmadha Varusha Aippasi Sravanam; Poigai Azhwar Thirunakshatram took place in grand manner at Sri Devarajaswami Temple, Kanchipuram. This is also the day 9 of Navaratri Utsavam, In the evening around 7.00 p.m, Sri Devaperumal with his consorts along with Sri Perundhevi Thayar purappadu to Nootrukal mandapam, and get downs at oonjal mandapam for Oonjal Sevai
Then Around 8.30 p.m Sri Devaperumal with his consorts and Sri Perundhevi Thayar after enjoying the Navarathri Utsavam at Nootrukal Mandapam.From there goes to Udayavar Sannadhi Via Sri Azhwan Prakaram There Poigai Azhwar with mudhal Azhwar comes to udayavar sannadhi, there gosthi and Darshana Thamboolam Mariyathai for Sri Poigai Azhwar and asthanam at Udayavar sannadhi. Then around 9.30 p.m, Thiruvaradhanam is performed for Divyadampatis followed by Poigai azhwar Mariyathai , Satrumurai , Theertha prasadam, Satari & goshti, Later around 10.00 p.m DevaPerumal and Perundhevi Thayar from Udayavar sannadhi goes to kannadi arai, there Sri Poigai Azhwar gets his final mariyathai and goes back to Azhwar sannadhi . Sri DevaPerumal with Perundhevi Thayar asthanam at Kannadi arai. Lot of astikas took part in the Poigai Azhwar Thirunakshatram and had the blessings of Azhwar and Divyadampatis.
