On , 15 January, 2016, Manmadha Varusha Thai Uthirattathi, Makara Sankaranthi Utsava celebration took place in a grand manner at Sri Sthalasayana Perumal Temple, Thirukadalmallai Divyadesam. On this occasion, in the morning Visesha Thirumanjanam for Sri Boodevi Sridevi sametha Sri Sthalasayana Perumal and Sri Andal followed ashtanam . In the evening Ul Prakara Purappadu took place inside the temple premises. Many Bakthas participated in the Makara Sankaranthi Utsavam and received the blessings of Divyadampathis and Sri Andal.
