On , 16 January 2016 ,Manmadha Varusha Revathi; Kanu Parvettai purappadu took place in in a grand manner at Sri Devanathan perumal Temple, Thiruvahindrapuram. In the morning Thayar and Andal Kanupadi at Gopuravasal followed by Theerthavari for Thayar Sri Satari. Later in the evening, Sri Devanathan Perumal gave scintillating darshan in kudhirai vahanam and goes for purappadu to nearby pennayaru for Kanu Parvettai utsavam. Lot of astikas took part in Kanu parvettai purappadu and had the blessings of Divya Dampatis.
