Thai Vellikizhamai Purappadu took place well at Kanchi Devarajaswami Temple. On February 5th 2016, in the evening Sri Thayar had beautiful alangaram followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu and Oonjal Sevai was performed. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several devotees participated in the Purappadu and Oonjal Sevai and received the blessings of Sri Thayar.
