Masi Ekadasi Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Kanchi Sri Devarajaswami Temple. On March 5th 2016, in the morning Sri Perumal along with Ubhaya Nachiyars started their Purappadu from Thirumalai. Later in the evening Sri Perumal with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu in the temple streets of Kanchipuram. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many Bakthas participated in the Purappadu and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
