Dhavanotsavam commenced in a grand manner at Thiruvallikeni Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple. On March 15th 2016, in the morning Sri Perumal along with His Consorts started their Purappadu from temple to Dhavana Utsava Mandapam and there Thirumanjanam was performed followed by Dhavanotsavam. Later in the evening Sri Perumal with His Ubhaya Nachiyars had Thiruveethi Purappadu with grand arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti followed by asthanam. Many devotees participated in the Dhavanotsavam and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
