Brahmotsavam commenced in a grand manner at Perambur Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple. On June 24th 2016, in the morning Dwajarohanam was performed in the presence of Divyadampathis. Then in the evening Sri Perumal had Simha Vahana Alangaram followed by Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many devotees participated in the Brahmotsavam and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
