On 15th August 2016, Kaitala Sevai was celebrated for Swami Desikan in Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple at Sriperumbudur. Many devotees had darshan of Swami Desikan. This event was also marked by the release of the Ethiraja Sapthathy. This book with Sanskrit text and Tamil Commentary had been earlier published in 1989 by Sri E. Krishnamacharyar, Swami Desikan Sannidhi, Sriperumbudur. The commentary was by Sri Veerapuram Satagopachariar. Sri AnanthaPadmanaba Swami has republished this book and released this along with his own Desika Mozhigal on this august occasion.
