As part of the Hayagreeva Jayanthi celebrations, Brahmotsavam is celebrated at Sri LakshmiHayagreeva Perumal Temple, Pondicherry. Day 5 of the utsavam was celebrated on September 9, 2016. On this occasion, Sri LakshmiHayagreevar in Sri Ramar thirukolam purappadu on Hanumantha vahanam. Also Sri Bargava Nrusimhar, one among nava narasimhars, also had thirveedhi purappadu. Likewise on Day 6, Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar thirukalyana utsavam was conducted in grand manner followed by purappadu in Gaja vahanam. Sri Malolan and Sri Pavana Narasimhar , one among nava narasimhars also had thiruveethi purapaadu along with Hayagreevar. Lot of astikas took part in the day 5 & 6 of Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of Perumal.
