On, 11 October 2016, Durmukhi Varusha Purattasi Sravanam; Vijayadasmi Parivettai Utsavam was celebrated grandly at Sri Rajagopalaswami Temple, mannargudi. On this occasion in the evening, Sri Gopalan in Kudhirai Vahanam Thiruveethi Purappadu took place in the temple streets of Mananrgudi. Then Vijayadasami ambupoduthal was portrayed at Gopinatha Swami Temple, Mannargudi. Several Astikas took part in the Vijayadasmi Parivettai Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Rajagopalan.
