On, 15 October 2016, Durmukhi varusha Purattasi Uthirattathi, Day 5 of Swami Desikan Thirunakshatra utsavam celebrated in grand manner at Triplicane Ahobila mutt, Chennai.On this occasion, Swami Desikan gave scintillating darshan during asthanam, Sevakalam was done with satrumurai. Later Swami Desikan in Surya Prabhai thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the temple streets of Thiruvallikeni. The utsavam will be conducted until 20th october 2016 . Lot of astikas took part in the day 5 of Swami Desikan Thirunakshatra utsavam and had the blessings of Acharya & Perumal.
