On, 18 October 2016, Durmukhi varusha Purattasi Bharani, Day 8 of Swami Desikan Thirunakshatra utsavam celebrated in grand manner at Triplicane Ahobila mutt, Chennai.On this occasion, Swami Desikan gave scintillating darshan followed by asthanam, Sevakalam and satrumurai. Later in the evening, Swami Desikan Pathi ulathal took place inside the temple premises. Lot of astikas took part in the day 8 of Swami Desikan Thirunakshatra utsavam and had the blessings of Acharya & Perumal.
