On , 5th November 2016, Durmukhi Aippasi Pooradam; Thirunakshatram of Sri Vishwaksenar also known as Senai Mudhanmayaar was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Devarajaswami Temple , Kanchipuram.On this occasion, In the evening Sri Devaperumal with his consort followed by Sri Senai Mudhanmayaar thiruveedhi Purappadu to thiruvadi kovil and back to Kovil directly Ezhundharulal at Sri Senai mudhanmayaar sannadhi . There was a grand goshti, Darshana Thamboolam followed by Sri senai Mudhanmayaar mariyathai and Perumal asthanam at Senai Mudhanmayaar Sannadhi. Later Perumal Thiruvaradhanam, Nivedhanam, Vishwaksenar Mariyadai, Satrumurai and Theertha prasadam. Then Perumal while returning last mariyadhai for Senai mudaliar at 10th step and Sri Devaperumal goes back to Kannadi Arai. Lot of astikas took part in Sri Viswaksenar Thirunakshatra Utsavam and had the blessings of Acharya and Divyadampatis.
