On, 18 January 2018, Hevilambi varusha Thai Sravanam, Swami Desikan Maasa Thirunakshatra purappadu took place in grand manner at Triplicane Ahobila mutt, Chennai.On this occasion, In the evening Swami Desikan Maada Veedhi purappadu followed by asthanam, Sevakalam and Satrumurai. Several Astikas took part in the maasa thirunakshatra purappadu of Swami Desikan and had the blessings of Acharya & Perumal.
