On, 24 January 2018, Hevilambi Varusha Thai Aswini; is the day of Rathasapthami. In the morning Perumal purappadu took place at Sri Damodara Perumal Temple, Villivakkam, Chennai. The Perumal gave beautiful darshan in Surya Prabhai, the purappadu started in the early morning in the temple streets of Villivakkam. Many Astikas took part in the purappadu and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
