On 24th March 2018, Hevilambi Varusham Mirugaseerisam; Panguni Uthira Utsavam commenced in a grand manner at Sri Devarajaswamy Temple, Kanchipuram. On that day, Perumal and Thayar were decorated with full of flower garlands and abharanams. Perumal and his consorts wore violet color vashthram. Sri Perarulalan and Sri Malayala Nachiyar had Purappadu in the Thiruveethi. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Likewise, the 2nd Day of the Uthira Utsavam was conducted grandly on 25th March 2018. Perumal and his consorts were decorated beautifully with abharanams. They gave scintillating darshan to the devotees. In the Evening, Sri Perarulalan and Sri Malayala Nachiyar had Purappadu in the streets of the Temple. Many astikas participated in the Panguni Uthira Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Devarajaswamy.
