As a part of ongoing Panguni Brahmotsavam, the 9th day of the Utsavam was celebrated auspiciously on March 27, 2018 (Hevilambi Varusham panguni poosa nakshatram) at Sri Prasanna Venkatesh Perumal Temple, Madurai. In the morning Perumal adorned blue and yellow color vasthram. Ubhayanachiyars wore green color vasthram and had lotus shaped maalai. The crown and flowers for Perumal was decorated beautifully and He adorned several necklaces and maalai. Then Perumal along with Ubhayanachiyars had purappadu on Thiruther. In the evening Sri Bhudevi Sridevi sametha Sri Prasanna Venkatesh had great alangaram. He gave scintillating darshan to the devotees and then Perumal along with Ubhayanachiyars had purappadu on Pushapa simha vahanam. Several astikas participated in the utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Prasanna Venkatesha Perumal.
