As a part of Panguni Brahmotsavam, the 8th day was celebrated on April 9,2018 (Hevilambi Panguni Uthiradam). On the occasion, Perumal was dressed up with merun silk vasthram and was decorated with kaasu malai, pendants, chains and several flower garlands. He also had a pot of butter in hand. In Thiruveethi purappadu, Perumal gave scintillating darshan to the astikas on VennaiThazhi Kannan Thirukolam. Likewise 7th day of the Panguni Brahmotsavam was celebrated well on 8th April 2018(Hevilambi Panguni Pooradam). In the evening, Perumal and His consorts had a great alankaram with several ornaments and flower garlands. He gave darsanam as Sri Rama and had bow and arrow in His hand. Along with His consorts, He had Choornabhisekham took place. On the occasion, Perumal was taken in a procession with several umbrellas, a band of nathaswaram was played. Later in the night, Perumal had purappadu followed by Kaithala sevai where He was taken on a small Kedayam by sri pada thangis. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several astikas participated in the Panguni Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of Sri VanPurusothama Perumal.
