On 14th July 2018, Vilambi Varusha Aani Poosam, Shesha Vahana purappadu for Thiruppavadai Utsavam took place in a grand manner in Sri Thirumalazhaghi sametha Damodara Perumal Temple, Damal (a village in Kanchipuram district). For the procession, Sri Perumal (in Paramapathanatha thirukolam) with his consorts had an attractive and auspicious alankaram. Thiruveedhi purappadu took place on a Sesha vahanam in the maada veedhis around the temple. Several devotees received the blessings of Sri Perumal and his consorts.
