Thirupavithrotsavam started in a grand manner at Sri Madhavaperumal Perumal Temple, Mylapore, on July 23, 2018(Vilambi Aadi Anusham). Sri Madhava Perumal with Thayars had thirumanjanam and alankaram. Thereafter, homam was performed. Many devotees participated on that Utsavam and received the blessings of Sri Madhava Perumal and Amrithavalli Thayar.
On the second day evening, Sri Perumal and Thayars had beautiful muthangi alankaram. Sri Aravinda Madhavan along with Sridevi and Boodevi ascended the throne (simhasanam) and gave a majestic darshan to the bhakthas.
