On 3rd September 2018 (SriVilambi Aavani Rohini), Sri Krishna Jayanthi was grandly celebrated at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Mathur, Chennai. On this occasion, Moolvar blessed devotees in aalaya Kannan Thirukolam and Sri Azghaiya Manavalan in Govarathana Giri Thirukolam. Thiruppavadai utsavam also took place on this day and various types of prasadams were offered to the Sri Kannan. Several astikas participated in the Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Srinivasa Perumal as Krishnan.
