On 21st October 2018 (SriVilambi Aippasi Sadayam), Gandhappodi Utsavam for Peyazhwar took place at Sri Parthasarathy Perumal Temple, Thiruvallikeni. Peyazhwar adorned orange and violet silk vasthram, beautiful flower garlands and had purappadu in the temple streets of Thiruvallikeni. Several astikas participated and had the blessings of Sri Peyazhwar.
