Today, January 12, 2014; Vijaya Varusha Margazhi Rohini, Sri Srinivasa Perumal blessed the devotees in sayana thirukkolam. Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple or Swami Desikan Sannidhi, Sriperumbudur is housed in the Thirumaligai of Sri Thirumalai Nambi. The annual visit of Thiruvallur Sri Veeraraghava Perumal to this temple took place until 1948. After a hiatus 55 years, this was revived by HH 45th Srimath Azhagiyasingar of Sri Ahobila Mutt, Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Divya Paduka Sevaka Srivan Sathakopa Sri Narayana Yatindra Mahadesikan, in 2003. HH decreed and facilitated the annual visit of Thiruvallur Sri Veeraraghava Perumal to the Sannidhi during the Thirunakshatra celebrations of Swami Desikan.
