On June 11, 2014; Jaya Varusha Vaikasi Visakam, Namazhwar Thirunakshatram was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Divya Desam, Kanchipuram. Sri Devaperumal Perumal alongwith Ubhaya Nachiyars had purappadu till Namazhwar Sannidhi in the evening. Several devotees participated in the utsavam and received the blessings of Azhwar, Acharya and Perumal.
